Bradford Plus with BSA Standard Sets
Catalog : RC38
The DX/DT Bradford Plus Protein Assay Kit is a ready-to-use, Coomassie dye-based reagent for rapid and reliable protein quantification. It includes dilution-free BSA standards at 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, and 2 mg/mL for accurate calibration. Designed for colorimetric detection at 595 nm, it offers excellent linearity and minimal protein-to-protein variability. Compatible with microplate and cuvette-based protocols, the assay is simple—just mix and measure, with results available almost instantly.
Product features
- Features & Benefits
- Fast & Easy – No reagent preparation required; simply add, mix, and read at 595 nm.
- Wide Assay Range – Detects proteins from 1 to 1500 μg/mL, suitable for various applications.
- Pre-Diluted BSA Standards – Ready-to-use BSA set (0.125–2 mg/mL) eliminates serial dilution steps.
- Flexible Format – Works with cuvettes and microplates, with adaptable protocols.
- Compatible with Buffers & Reagents – Tolerates common salts, reducing agents, detergents, and chelators.
The assay is based on the Bradford method, where Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye binds to proteins in an acidic environment, shifting its absorbance from 465 nm (red-brown) to 595 nm (blue). The color intensity correlates with protein concentration, providing rapid and accurate quantification. The assay is performed at room temperature, with results obtained within minutes.
