DX/DT’s RNA Steady™ is a tissue RNA stabilization solution that prevents the degradation of cellular RNA and stabilizes it. It reduces the use of deep freezers, Liquid nitrogen and other commercial equipment. This also neglects the use of tissues immediately, which allows the scientific community to fix their own time to work with RNA. Stored tissue RNA can be used for hybridization, blotting techniques, RT – PCR and other downstream applications. DX/DT’s RNA Steady™ is also compatible with gene expression and profiling data.

DX/DT’s RNA Steady™ solution can be used for any tissue type. Large tissues can be broken down into small and immersed into five volumes of RNA Steady™ solution. Tissues can be stored for more than a month in RNA steady solution at 4ºC then RNA can be isolated with DX/DT QZol™.
